Possibility of using a speech therapy application as part of speech therapy prevention

The diploma thesis examines the usability of the speech therapy application for children of preschool age in speech therapy prevention. It focuses on the most common deficits in the areas of optical and auditory perception and seriality. It tracks progress, the most common mistakes and areas that are well developed in children. It investigates the possibilities of using the application in common practice during speech therapy prevention in kindergarten for children of preschool age. For the purposes of the research, was chosen a qualitative method, carried out by the method of analysis and interpretation of data from the results of testing eight children from kindergarten aged 4 to 7 years. In order to complete the issue, a structured interview was conducted with a speech therapy assistant who works in a kindergarten. It was found that the created logopedic application can be used both for individual logopedic prevention and in a group. The speech therapy assistant also recommends the application for independent work in the home environment. Furthermore, it was found that the most frequent deficits are in the area of auditory perception, especially the auditory differentiation of words.
